Antiquated was established in 1990, just before original Painted Furniture came into fashion. Opening my decorative antiques shop in Petworth caused a stir as I did not display any brown furniture!
Now everywhere is full of the distressed painted pieces, but sadly not all genuine – some repainted and some made up of old timber.

In addition to decorative furniture such as chairs and sofas, dressers and tables, we also specialise in antique Georgian and Victorian rocking horses, garden antiques, upholstery, mirrors, unusual decorative objects, paintings and modern art.

Since selling my shop in Petworth I now work from home and from this web site.
