Cabinet making For Over 30 Years

I started this company in 2014 because I decided it was time to strike out alone and do my own thing.
I’ve been a cabinet maker for 30 years now, I started out as an apprentice working for a company in Glenfield (doing mostly marine joinery). I was with them for thirteen years before I went to work at Gulf Harbour for a year, then I went to Hobsonville where I worked for five years. So, with a total of 19 years of experience in marine joinery, I left Hobsonville and worked for a commercial shopfitting company in Onehunga, where I did a year before coming back to the North Shore and working in kitchen installation for a company in Albany.

Since leaving Albany, I started Coastal Cabinetry and have been doing bespoke cabinetry work ever since.
During my time working at Gulf Harbour, I met my now wife Odna. Eight years ago we welcomed a son to our family. He has bought much joy to both of our lives, he is a very happy person generally (except when I tell him to turn the TV off).
We work well together, as my wife is an accountant and sorts me out with the taxes.
