Dr. Kovacs is the clinical director of the Eatontown Elite Care Center d/b/a Eatontown Spine & Injury Center. He has extensive experience in caring for spinal related issues. These range from trauma-related cases as a result of motor vehicle collisions and sports injuries to scoliosis. This, accompanied with his comprehensive postdoctoral education, allows Dr. Kovacs to treat both simple and complicated cases.
Dr. Kovacs is credentialed through both medical and chiropractic academia in MRI interpretation, spinal biomechanical engineering, and a host of other topics related to triaging the injured.
In 2023, Dr. Kovacs earned a Fellowship in Primary Spine Care. The Primary Spine Care provider [PSC] is trained in diagnosing and managing all spinal-related conditions and focuses on mechanical spine pain. The PSC is also trained in basic and advanced imaging, electrodiagnostic interpretation, vascular diagnosis related to stroke, central motor, and sensory lesion diagnosis, and other co-morbidity analysis related to musculoskeletal conditions. The PSC provider does not typically treat fractures, tumors or infection, but is trained in diagnosing and managing those comorbidities collaboratively with other medical specialists.
The Fellowship training is a 2-year program that is certified through the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Department of Continuing Medical Education in joint providership with Cleveland University-Kansas City, College of Chiropractic. It is the first joint providership program between Medical and Chiropractic academia.
Dr. Kovacs is a member of the prestigious Academy of Chiropractic that provides the latest research on diagnosing and treating spinal-related conditions. This allows Dr. Kovacs to offer the latest techniques based upon research when caring for his patients while also drawing from many years of practice experience.
He is currently a member of the American Chiropractic Association and serves as the alternate delegate for the state of NJ. He also serves as the President of the board of directors for the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors. Additionally, he has earned the titles of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and Diplomate in the American Academy of Medical-Legal Professionals. Having incorporated BrainCore Neurofeedback Therapy into the practice in 2011, Dr. Kovacs has also attained BCIA board certification in neurofeedback, the highest certification possible.
Dr. Kovacs is supported by a caring, highly trained staff that is dedicated to meeting the needs of their patients in processing insurance, legal or work-related documentation. Dr. Kovacs was named Chiropractor of the Year by the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors in 2020 has also been recognized by the Academy of Chiropractic as a clinician of excellence.
