Detailed Information

At Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre, volunteers are essential to the smooth operation of the entire facility. Volunteers are essential to ensuring that our purpose of providing accessible, innovative, and community-based art, nature, summer camps oakville and wellness programming, as well as preserving this historic location for future generations to learn from and build upon, is realized.

With the help of our community partners and board members, JCHAC is able to offer exciting seminars and events that give members the chance to grow and develop their artistic skills. You should visit JCHAC frequently to discover what new features we’ve added.

The Watercolor Printmaking workshop at Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre is always a crowd pleaser. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, you’ll be completely absorbed as you acquire new skills through play.

Our goal is to help families strengthen their ties to one another, as well as to the arts, the natural world, and each other. We provide a variety of programs that provide participants the time and space they need to develop their empathy and sense of wonder, as well as their appreciation for the arts and the natural world. We feel it is important for individuals of all ages to disconnect from technology and mindfully reconnect with the land in a time when people stare at a screen more often than they do the birds and plants in their backyards.

Our goal is to foster a community where all volunteers feel welcome and valued, and where their individual strengths can flourish.
