Q-Ride Instructor Course – Theory

The first step in the process of becoming an accredited Q-Ride Instructor in Queensland is to attend the Q-Ride Instructor Theory Course. Taking place over 3 evenings via an online training platform such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, we will discuss the key topics to equip you with the knowledge needed prior to commencing your practical training.

This course focuses on the theoretical requirements around training individuals to deliver effective motorcycle rider training while promoting safe motorcycle riding. It enhances riders’ knowledge and skills in safe motorcycle operation, covering areas such as hazard identification, defensive techniques, proper gear usage, situational awareness, speed management, braking, manoeuvring, and hazard perception.
